The lower links are machined from thick nickel-plated brass, placing weight as low as physically possible on the chassis. This lowers the center of gravity, increases stability on side hills, and improves climbing consistency.

The upper links are black anodized aluminum, reducing weight up high where it works against performance. By avoiding unnecessary mass above the chassis centerline, the vehicle does not have to carry excess weight up and over obstacles, maintaining responsiveness and efficiency.
